ArtistScope provides free modules for adding copy protection and encrypted media into Drupal web pages. Adding any media, especially encrypted media, to Drupal web pages can be beyond the skills of those web developers who rely on the tools provided by Drupal. However these modules dramatically simply those tasks, reducing them to simple point and click procedures.
Encrypted media use different file names to differentiate their processes so that web servers can better cater for their delivery. For example an encrypted image will no longer use a .jpg or .gif file extension. Consequently the normal upload process for such images will be different to prevent users from mistakenly uploading the wrong file type when they should be uploading the encrypted version.
Encrypted media also requires different methods to display or play on web pages. For example, while your web site may include embedded media players, they will not be able to play encrypted video that has been copy protected. Mainly because generic players would be a security threat if they could decrypt your protected video and display it anywhere. Nor could they deliver the proprietary buffering that our media player uses.
So for encrypted and copy protected media, proprietary viewers and players are required.
Web Browser Support
As of late 2015 popular web browser no longer support NPAPI plugins which are required to interact at system level for real copy protection and user identification. So the popular web browsers can no longer support real copy protection. Sure, there are some advertised as being able to, but they offer weak and superficial protection that is easy to exploit.
To support real copy protection and close the holes that popular web browsers always exposed, ArtistScope provide a purpose designed web browser known as the ArtisBrowser. While your copy protected media is viewed using the ArtisBrowser, there are no avenues left for possible exploit. Media resource links cannot be located, media cannot be saved or downloaded and the data on the web page cannot be retrieved from browser cache or memory. In fact, when SSL is used, nothing can be traced even when using packet-sniffers.

ASPS Tag Management
The Drupal module for ASPS Tag Management provides management for the ArtistScope Site Protection System (ASPS). ASPS is a server side filter that encrypts web pages prior to delivery to the user's computer. ASPS Tag Management is used by site owners to nominate which pages are to be encrypted for ASPS, leaving all other pages for normal delivery.

From the Drupal page editor you can select pre-encrypted CopySafe PDF files, arrange page placement and custom settings for each page from the Drupal page editor.

CopySafe Video
The Drupal module for CopySafe Video enables site owners and admins to upload encrypted and copy protected video for viewing on your Drupal web pages. CopySafe Web
The Drupal module for CopySafe Web enables site owners and admins to upload encrypted and copy protected images for viewing on your Drupal web pages. From the Drupal page editor you can select pre-encoded CopySafe Web images, arrange page placement and custom settings for each page from the Drupal page editor. By simply adding a small CopySafe Web image to a web page triggers copy protection that applies to all text and media displayed on that page.
CopySafe Web is a simpler less expensive alternative to the ArtistScope Site Protection System (ASPS) which requires a dedicated or virtual server. Although not as effective as ASPS, CopySafe Web enables site owners to employ web site protection even on shared hosting services. In fact CopySafe Web can be used on any web page hosted anywhere.
